The summer passed quickly, just like my summer bar haul essentials were used up. Keeping the bar simple turned out to be a success. Friends could easily see and pick bottles they liked and put them in the freezer to chill. I enjoy this laid-back way of entertaining.
Adding a new adaptogenic spirit has been pleasant to sip on at night. I borrowed a few long steamed tasting glasses from my parents’ collection. They’re Portuguese, and my parents have had them forever.
I tried to incorporate more NA spirits for fall. Gin and tonics are great for any season since the garnish is really what makes the drink pop. A whiskey alternative paired with an old-fashioned mix is something I am really excited about serving to friends as the weather turns cooler.
