The cocktail party is genuinely a fantastic contribution to the world of entertainment. I plan to build cocktails and memories around my newly stocked home bar.

Having worked in the bar industry for over a decade, I understand how daunting and costly it can be to set up a home bar. For instance, a well-stocked home bar requires many spirits, syrups, garnishes, tools, books, mixers, and more. When I started building my collection, I had to pause and consider how I lived and wanted this space to function effectively. I didn't want anything too fussy or complicated. This summer, it will reach triple digits, so I chose a few refreshing sparkling options and ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages I already know I like. A mix of single-serving cans makes it easier to try multiple drinks when entertaining. I'm newer to the non-alcoholic world, and it's already been so much fun trying new products with friends when they come over.

HANDS ON stackable glassware conserves valuable counter space + lends a polished/undone feel to the small bar.

OLD VS NEW a mixing glass, recently purchased off Amazon, pairs seamlessly with an antique serving tray and silver-rimmed sipping glasses. Matches from a night out in NYC await guests who want to try their hand at flaming an orange peel.

VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE cocktails not your jam? there’s cold beer in the fridge! non alcoholic of course…

DOUBLE UP regarding garnishes, I firmly believe that less is more, meaning you can never have enough! Look for olives that you can use on a charcuterie board as well as in a martini. Crushed rose buds can rim a glass, and you can also infuse them whole in boiling water for a vibrant tea.

rose buds, maraschino cherries, blue cheese stuffed olives, All the Bitters orange, dehydrated orange, dehydrated pineapple, rose syrup.

MIX IT UP the tiki mugs on the top shelf are from my parents' marriage license run in Sparks, NV, circa 1983. The bar tools were a long-term investment.

MY TYPE can you tell what type of wine I gravitate towards? lol.
